Qualifying was crazy today at the gnarly track here in West Virginia. It was Neko's first practice day, and he looked quite comfortable, taking down that #1 spot after Quallies. Phil Kmetz hucked the heck out of the woods into the steepest part of the track. Jill went first in qualifying over Camila (Argentina) and Samantha Kingshill. Junior Charlie Harrison won Quallies over Steve Walton and Andras Simon.
another good vid from mtbmania. always a blast watching these !
seriously rocky course. looked terribly rough on the vid...so u know it's gotta be brutal in real life. props to those making it down in one piece!
na I took a scree shot of it too it looks like the same prototype as last year but with yeti graphics on it. The company usually recycles those things with other riders. My buddy had a RDH that Gwin raced on before him.
You're not supposed to turn the Western Territory (especially upper & lower hareball) into 3 minute gaps man!!! Be sure to spray the crowd and Charlie with a Dales Pale from the top step here soon Neko!! Hauling the fn mail!
If Neko can stay on his bike I think he is going to shave a few seconds off that quali run no doubt. His POV made it seem like he wasnt pedaling in the open sections
agreed....looks like a rockie road most of the ride,,,but guess the idea is go fast...you should ride B-Hive at Wilson's Creek in Pisgha. Have yet to make it down being I have only rode it once and it scared the piss out of me and didn't ride down the hole way,,walked it..but there is always next time..
I agree. Rode there last year for the first time and had a blast. The staff were super friendly & when I wrecked I got to meet the guy who started the bike park back in the day. Plan on going back this September
Though perhaps it is nearer to production?
