Southern Utah is known for its legendary free ride. From Big Water to Virgin, Utah is full of iconic jumps and spines. We took Jaxson Riddle to Green River to slow down and enjoy the real reason we all bike.... Turns.
I was going to make a joke along the lines of "it's a good job he does something cool for a living with that cool sounding a name", but then I realised being called Jaxson Riddle can make any profession sound rock and roll. Even "Let me introduce our accounts assistant for the midwest sanitation division... Jaxson Riddle" sounds cool!
@Aptlynamed: I can't get over the fact they did this in big water with some of the smoothest lines in existence in southern Utah. Could've done the same thing in town on the downhill lines of Webb Hill with some actual ledges that your tire needs protection from. Those rocks tear shit up. This was just dusty top soil skids.
I kinda' struggle with the erosion, but I suppose as long as nothing grows in the riding zone then it's not a huge deal.
This kind of riding gets me thinking about how a "low impact" ride zone could be created to reduce injuries, almost like riding snow.
