The dropper post, disc brakes, and the Specialized Big Hit have all been credited as "game-changers". Well, today you can now add Jandal Co's "Clip-Flop" to that list. Pinkbike's Tom Bradshaw takes out the aero footwear for a lap on the trails and gives us the lowdown on all the proprietary tech.
I wonder if Joe Rich or Garrett was the master mind. Still have a kink freebird in the garage, profile cassette hub on the rear and primo cranks. Much easier to manual than my 29er.
I’ll take 3 pair. @tombradshaw are these available for the 2021 riding season, or are they sold out till the 2030s? Can I order priority air mail, to avoid any canal-related f*ckery?
Hey everyone, I'm starting a class action lawsuit over these. Not for personal financial gain or self aggrandisement, I'm just worried America's best downhill prospect might eventually wear them:
Finally some good looking MTB footwear. Ideally suited for crossing streams on those multisport backcountry adventure missions. They look perfect for trail building too!
Joking aside, I used to regularly do mechanical for a guy who put in 50-70 miles a day in spd sandals along the PCH and river trails in Orange county. He swore by them and claimed to have done the majority of his cross country touring ride in spd sandals as well.
What a great idea ,jokes aside, it might have is space like someone who use clips in their bikes and want to go near the beach or just cruising in summer days ,my self use the flat pedals ones when I end the ride, put the 5:10 on the backpack, and the socks, and then pedal home for the rest (like 15km mix of road and trail)to home, but riding them on rough terrain ,probably not ,but for riding on easy trails ,almost free of traffic ,why not ?
Oh, so now the industry is going to convince all you endur-bros that flip flops are where it’s at after pushing the overbuilt, geriatric-looking orthotics all these years? Keep giving them your money, Sheeple!

Riding in jandals can cause the straps to pull out. But a clip on the bottom and voila, your jandals fixxored.
