If ever there was a testing ground for equipment it would be La Thuile. High in the Italian Alps, this small resort offer up some big mountains and some of the steepest, rockiest terrain on the circuit. Ric McLaughlin caught up with the pros at round five of the EWS to see what changes they've made to their set-ups ahead of the race.
Videos are only still frame pics coming at you at 30 per second. So consider this video as 12,600 pictures for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to pause whenever you like.
@jaycubzz: I work in construction and Im always telling the young guys to get off their phones. Mine stays in the truck only to be checked at breaks. Its annoying as hell that they rhink they are entitled to play on the phone while working.
Interesting to see Mitch Ropelato not listening to other riders or using common sense and going for shorter travel bike, and then having a massive whinge on VitalMTB about the trail being too gnarly and having a go at the EWS organisers. Muppet
Very cool! Incredible how some pro riders don't understand (I feel so) nothing about how to setup their suspension or at least, try to understand a little bit about the thing. Again, like I said before, is strange also to see a lot of girls (and men) using toooo laaaarrrggeee handlebars...
There is an argument for written journalism. My personal view each artikel should both have written and video in support. Moving image cannot and should not replace the written word.
Looks like a Rockshox. If I remember right hes not exactly sponsored by a suspension company because hes almost like free lance. He rides for Santa Cruz still. But I think he just runs what ever he chooses.
If the industry considered carbon footprints, none of the race series would exists. how many Carbon Credits would EWS have to buy to offset the travel to their venues alone? You talking about a consumer based industry that requires yearly sales to survive and a global race series based on far way exotic locations.
Tip: if content is labeled VIDEO, view it later. Don't whine about it bc your bossperson don't like it.

Again, like I said before, is strange also to see a lot of girls (and men) using toooo laaaarrrggeee handlebars...
