After a brief hiatus, the pros have been on track once more for round 2 of the Met Helmets Enduro World Series Val Di Fassa Trentino. With thunderstorms affecting yesterdays pro stage and more overnight rain changing conditions on familiar tracks, we're all set for a very different race!—GMBN
That was much better and acceptable coverage than the previous one. Wayy to go
>Still missed that suffering and numbers in that epic climb with spectators...
>I wonder how cool would have been to have had split screen live mode with looong drone view on that ridge on SP4 Rude VS Moir... (This could be one of the advantages of fake live...)
>Also missing impressions of the series reigning champion Mr Hill and where/why he is struggling. [Reply]
They did, the previous video he mentioned that he was struggling with flat pedals on blown out tracks that were only getting worse by the second round, and in this he said he was losing the front wheel on slippery roots on top of that. The top end of EWS is sharp, often being just 1% off is the difference between winning and 20-30s
I did enjoy the coverage of the races this week, but frustrating that the focus is so firmly kept on the top names (and the big sponsors), while missing out on some other incredible stories happening. Ella Connolly, 5th place in women's race, no factory support. And I don't think she got a single mention in the commentary.
Thanks for a great recap GMBM, awesome to see relevant and entertaining coverage...,...but side by side rider comparisons are so 2016! Please can you get Ben Cathro up there with his ghost cam? Thanks and more please!
Would be interesting to compare the numbers as to how many people watch a Red Bull World Cup DH feed vs. how many watch these EWS highlight videos. I'm guessing 100 to 1? Maybe 1000 to 1? Hope EWS figures it out someday.
