Former DH MTB World Cup racer, Bryn Atkinson swapped the trails of Australia for the Pacific Northwest trading race kicks for camera clicks. Listen to the pure, unadulterated sound of speed as he shreds through the woods of Washington.
@ytei: You are close. Shralp is derived from the words Shred and Scalp. Take the first three letters and the last three letters and you get "Shralp". Probably not politically correct these days, but hey...
He needs a bloody Pilots license for the amount of time he spent airborne and a rally drivers license for the amount of time he was going sideways and a bloody pinball license for the amount of time he was bouncing off things and last but not least Demigod status for pedalling in the air mid jump!
The guy is the epitome of the term “shred”. His cornering technique is the best of anybody’s, but the way he puts it all together to maintain that much speed and flow is truly a joy to watch. The pumping, jumping and cornering all strung together perfectly. He and Jill must just fly through the woods together. What fun.
did luke strobel's all time tmc raw edit just get beat? was it because the raw audio is compressed better or was bryn's shralping better? maybe a little bit of both, hehehheee
I believe it is sped up as well. If you focus away from the rider on the leaves and ferns they just move a bit too quickly.
Still a great rider on a great piece of trail.
this guy is an amazing rider, I owned this bike and part of the reason I kept it an extra month or two was I felt it could be ridden fast by looking at his videos yet it always felt like garbage to me no matter what I did-I mean the bike comes loaded with tokens in the shock and just blows through the travel so I don't understand how he dies this....anyhow this is a great example of if doesn't matter what a great rider rides they will shred anything!!
It might blow through the travel for you, but look at how bloody quick he is going! He’s probably running about 4 million psi in forks and shock, just so it will keep up with him. Probably got about a thousand psi in his minions too. This is what happen when you take lessons from Chuck Norris :s
Djkidd not new but maybe you. Know more than I do......just my opinion but I can tell you no one wants norcos, try to sell and lightly used new one and see what happens. There is a reason for it
Never had any issues selling a used Norco. Never had a complaint from a buyer either. As a guy who generally invests in new bikes once a year or more, I've sold quite a few. I'm sorry to hear that yours didn't make you fast. I'm in Portland every weekend - shoot me a PM and I'll help you set up your Range to be the rocket ship that your abilities deserve.
Just sold my Norco Aurum for almost the same price I bought it for last year... It sold in two weeks of advertising and wasn't even haggled regarding price
He is simply an amazing writer and it truly goes to show that it isn’t the bike it’s the rider because I had that bike and all it did was bought them out and didn’t handle it well but he makes it look like it’s a freaking Ferrari
I thing the video is slightly speed up, though.
Does anyone know where this trail is located??
THE
f*ck.
:O
When the rider is fast it's them, not the bike.
When the rider (you) is slow, it's the bike's fault, not yours.
Norco do some of the best setup guides in the industry. I'd recommend you check them out. Here's the one for the Range.
