 comeon pinkbike... apollo bay isnt rainforest.. the melbourne riding was cool. even cooler than most of those places have signs saying no bikes aha!

 Most of the trail shots are from I-Ride in Apollo Bay. Mike the owner has such a cool trail network built. If you're ever in the area I highly suggest looking it up!

 @AndrewTaylor: I had a great day with him last summer. Had some great stories about hosting DH races back in the mid-late 90's and the Living End playing on the back of a truck afterwards

 The new Sight seems a little less "poppy" then the last iteration.

 That could be true--many reviewers say the new Sight hugs the ground better than the old version. But watch Bryn Atkinson's most recent Instagram post--I think poppy riders don't have trouble getting the new Sight off the ground or ripping through corners.

 Apparently there was a chance Melbourne would actually be named Batmania at one stage. Glad it wasn’t as A) it’s actually a bit of a crap name and B) turn out John Batman was a horrible man who hunted and killed Aboriginal people
