In spring 2021 we started working on the Langford Gravity Zone, we were contracted to build a climbing trail “Wonderland” and a blue flow trail “Gold Rush” we faced challenging building conditions with lots of bedrock and challenging drainage, always keeping us on our toes! We’re so happy with how the trails turned out and it brings us immense joy seeing everyone out enjoying the trails now that they're open.
“Wonderland” is an intimate machine-built climbing trail, it’s the secondary climber in the network and starts from the main climbing and runs up to the southern summit. Winding through rock bluffs and Arbutus groves it really inspires a sense of adventure.
"Gold Rush" is a fun progressive blue flow trail, full of berms rollers and jumps. For so long here on the South Island there has been a lack of proper blue trails for new riders getting into the sport, so it’s been very cool to see riders of all abilities enjoy the trail!
