@nhp890 I still don't get why they didn't make it bigger. People were overshooting it 12 years ago. Went there as a 16 year old kid and I had very little skill so I was very surprised to land with one wheel on the flat even though I was a really bad rider back then.
Nice lines Claudio! I hope u become that loose and fun in the commentary booth too..have fun and goof off with warner; red bull has got him too worried about being a pro sportscaster.
It seems like the commentating has been tamed down for this season but honestly, I think he's most energetic and insane while riding his bike, haha. He's doing awesome for his first legit year of announcing and his track previews are still awesome so that's chillin. That last jump has gotten quite large... wild. YOU GOT IT MANON!!!
you guys were a little bit disapointed too about claudi commentating in comparaison with our expectations ? he's not as crazy as when he rides tht's clear... ²it will come with time I guess
Being completely series here. How would you do a course preview for Rampage? It's held on a mesa in Virgin, UT. Everyone digs their own line; there is no "course". "Well, this is this year's mesa. See ya later!"...?
Absurd style by Greg. He's going faster than 99% of riders in the world on that run and it looks like he's giving it 20% effort. Look at the gap he pulls in that first rock garden. Nuts.
The problem wasn't that it's wide or narrow though, the problem was that it moved mid race. So Bernard got disqualified for landing off a blind drop in a place that was part of the track last time he saw it.
No one's noticed that they've tightened the tape on that last drop, where Brenard Kerr got Robbed of a good position last year. The UCI officials disqualified him for breaking the tape (not passing a pole) but subsequently moved the tape back for the rest of the field.
going by recent videos it doesn't look like that all anymore but got to love Claudio and greg a load of mates got to ride with greg at porc during the week lucky lucky b******s
He should not give up his day job for a singing career. Unless it's during a track preview. It's like kelly mcazza humming a tune durring rampage. Love it.
Not the first time, last time he went down was at MSA in 2013 in the berms under the gondola. Still a very good track record considering he is basically speaking all the way down WC level downhill tracks.
I can't believe this is actually a comment?! Claudio's commentary videos are one of the best parts of the World Cup rounds. You should be ashamed of yourself
Listening to someone with broken english do a play by play of exactly what I'm watching is annoying.
It's like the Red Bull Rampage announcers.... HE'S DROPPING IN, BACKFLIP, TUCK NO HANDER, THIS IS A ROUGH SPOT. Bro, we are watching the same fucking thing you are, be quiet.
World Cup DH I listen to, but I only watch a handful of the riders (Atherton, Gwin, Brosnan, Minnaar, Hill, and sometimes Bryceland). If I watched the whole thing it'd go on mute eventually.

facetious
[fuh-see-shuh s]
adjective
1.
not meant to be taken seriously or literally:
a facetious remark.
2.
amusing; humorous.
It's not always about the "how", sometimes it's just about the "why the fu*k not"!
the only word in the English language containing every vowel in order.
Also, please tell your camera men to not zoom in too close on the rider that we don't see the wheels on the ground during the technical bits. Geez!
Thanks for not charging us to watch the event... I'm sure advertising helps on that front though.
BTW I'm drinking a redbull as I write this. Peace.
Who's idea was that?
Besides that, great video!
