Veronika Widmann Signs with Madison Saracen

After four years with Funn, 2019 European Cup overall Champion Veronika Widmann has announced she will be riding for Madison Saracen in 2021. The Italian rider finished third in the World Cup DH overall in 2019, but was unable to complete the short 2020 season after ripping her oblique muscle in a crash in Leogang.

Danny Hart and Madison Saracen parted ways at the end of this season. No word yet as to who the UK rider will be signing with this coming season.

 after all the Madison Saracen hate with Danny Harts split they are still a team that sponsor woman riders...good on them

 They are a great team and they kept their fastest rider and got rid of the slower one. I was unfortunate enough to come across Danny Hart at races when I was younger. One of my friends once asked him the time and he responded 'don't you know who I am?'

and Danny seams very nice person, with a different humor, and he is still quite fast for podium positions!!!

 this is old news, the original press release linked here tells us Widmann had signed for Madison-Saracen

 I think this is just from Veronika as maybe she couldn't announce anything till her contract was up for her last team.

 great news, good luck for the 2021 season, also didnt camile take the european stripes in portugal 2019 ,vero took the european cup overall that year me thinks
