 Radians aren't any more helpful at all! If they really cared they'd give us rectangular coordinates in the imaginary plane. In this case that comes to:

HTA = 243.85+522.94j

Now we can easily derive axle to crown in our heads along with what size rocks will result in under-damped oscillations.

And why is an American flag user complaining about degrees and not all the metric dimensions??

 Also weight needs to be addressed. Pound and kilo is a mesurement of mass is these companies want to give acurate weights, the newton meter needs to used.

 @BenPea: yeah kg is mass, Newton and pound are units of force and the Newton meter is a moment, but what if really like to see is the effective geometry you get when you are operating under the recommended sag. That would be a little more interesting.

 @shaney223: Pound is not a measurement of mass, but the kilogram is. British unit of mass is the slug. BTW, a newton meter is a joul, unit of energy, or alternatively a unit of torque (In English units, we have speak of torque in foot pounds for example).

Work which a force applied over a distance is energy all which have units of joules which is conventional used for energy, but is the same thing as a N*m which is conventionally used for moments/torques

 @AspidMan: dude youre telling me, i got the 650b one of these in XL and this 29in version would be my dream bike, my current swoop has a 487mm reach and i feel like that is just too short. if they had an xxl version or the xl had a 520mm reach i would be all over this!

i really feel like they knocked it out the park on this bike, geometry and spec and price wise, its just not long enough for tall people

 While it probably is a great bike (Germans know how to build a good realistically priced bike), Germans also never seem to give poor reviews to domestic products lately. Motorcycle tests are won by BMW, car tests are won by VW or Audi and bike tests are won by Canyon, Rose or Radon. Sometimes rightfully so, sometimes not.

 And that's after their head engineer Bodo Probst said two years ago he sees no sense in 29er long travel bikes.

No wonder it was equipped with a DT Swiss wheelset cause Newmen is known for their delivery times and not availability of products when you ask for delivery times or prices. Sad story, cause they are really good!

No metric shock? Hell yeah! Thought a bike is unrideable without one! Good to see standard shock lengths ain't dead!

 This may be a good bike, but it's one of the worst press releases I have ever seen. Their selling points are: "the best-specced version comes with good parts" - um, yeah I would assume the best version comes with good parts thanks, "some orange bits here and there" woohoo. Otherwise it's just a list. At minimum a press release should tell me what it's intended use is, and why it does that well.

 Big fail on the TLE...Super Gravity casings are excellent and the only way to go on a bike with that much travel, intended for enduro.

 Really like the look of these bikes. Great price, spec, decent geo and great weight considering the tyres too.

 Geometry figures from the the tall guy (6'5) standpoint are a bit vague. Yes it has moderate reach of 491mm in size XL, but the Top Tube lenght is only 637mm, so the riders weight when seated will be more front wheel oriented and that's not desirable. For comparison Whyte S-150 has almost the same reach (490), but longer Top Tube (659) and you can definitely feel centered. Deffo 22mm make a difference. Old YT Capra in size XL has TT 626mm so do the math.
So I would not recommend to anyone with similiar height and long legs. My 2c.

 I'd like to see more frames with shorter seat tube lengths and just compensated with longer droppers. Like that you can choose your frame size based on reach rather than seat tube length!

 @tralebuilder: yes but I do need a really high seat to be able to pedal comfortably, so i feel like this trend starts getting too low and eventually I will get problems to find a dropper long enough...
