PRESS RELEASE: endūr

In collaboration with the Lunn family, endūr is honoured to offer the official Jordie Lunn Memorial Collection, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the Jordie Lunn fund in order to assist youth with cycling opportunities, coaching and riding facility development, and other initiatives relating to brain health and injury prevention. Jordie was an endūr sponsored rider and personal friend of ours. In the past, endūr has worked with the Steve Smith and Kelly McGarry Foundations, donating over $35,000.

The memorial collection includes performance socks, t-shirts, and stickers. All products are available for pre-order until November 6th, 2019, with production and fulfillment expected to take 4-6 weeks once the pre-order has ended. In addition to donating all proceeds, the team at endūr is donating their time producing and fulfilling all orders as quickly as possible, and thanks you in advance for your patience and support. The endūr team will monitor the comments to answer questions when possible.

So make sure to buy some of this rather than the PB merch in the banner ad today...
  • 30 1
 Definitely. Smile

Nice! I can't have a Rough AF sticker on my truck because I live in SF, so I'll have to stick with the ramp designs.
  • 20 0
Hahaha, why you might get a date!
  • 10 2
I think there's only one S in AF. If there was two then there could certainly be a D in it!!!
  • 2 0
@kubaner: ...OH 'as' -I get it now.
  • 13 4
@Beez177: Because as someone that lives in SF too, SF is full of a bunch of pussies.
  • 2 0
Can an aussie get this explained?
  • 7 0
@bennorth: I believe he means that San Fran is a very progressive city in many ways and 'Rough AF' may be interpreted as 'Rough a$$ f*ck' instead of 'Rough as f*ck'. May peak the interest of some individuals and bring unwanted attention to the person displaying the sticker.
  • 3 0
That’s the reason you put the sticker on your bike and not on your truck next to the „free candy“ sticker Wink
  • 2 5
I think the reason you wouldn't put that sticker on your truck is your not rough AF. Im from the city but Gavin and the libs have made is wimpy AF. Head for the hills!
  • 6 1
@Crakencalbiker: Don't even start with that - the wimpy city would eat you alive.
  • 2 0
Big thanks endur, ordered the color socks for now.
  • 17 0
From now on, every time I get on my bike, I'll ask myself, What would Jordie do?
#WWJD #ROUGHAF
  • 4 0
That's why I grabbed 1 of everything, Jordie would try and shred everything.

Finally some dope merch to help support jordies family
  • 4 0
I'm not sure the proceeds go to his family. I think they go to the Jordie Lunn Fund which will be used to help with youth cycling development, etc..
  • 26 0
@MarcusBrody: they go to the fund the family has set up to a) cover some medical costs, and b) benefit some causes that were important to Jordie.

T-shirt ordered. Can't wait till my daughter asks why I'm wearing a ladder and we get to sit down and watch all 3 Rough AFs. RIP Jordie.
  • 10 0
Shirt and socks bought! Happy to help.
  • 7 0

Love the ladder socks! Definitely in.
  • 5 0
Yep, I couldn't resist those either.
  • 7 0
Awesome! Ordered. Great idea and thank you to Craig and Jarrett and Brian for helping organize this. Also thanks to Endur for supporting this.

Anyone in the UK looking to order stickers and cant justify the shipping cost... I'm looking to do something similar over here in the UK - again with all proceeds going to the JL Legacy fund. We shouldn't be priced out from being able to do our bit.
  • 1 2
Yeah shipping costs is crazy. Lots of money that could otherwise be going to the fund! UK options would be great.
  • 6 1
Great, would spend more if there was a ladder Shirt as well!

Also, can someone help as to what's a standard north american fit? If i wear an XXL in Europe do I have to buy a size M now?
  • 2 0
Yewwww! So stoked on these. Was initially just in it for the stickers but couldn't resist those ladder socks.

EDIT. Oh damn I was so excited I literally didn't even read that I'd have to wait 4-6 weeks. Oh well, still stoked!

Only way to make sure everyone gets what they want is through pre-order. Thanks for your patience Smile

@endur: no chance at a longsleeve?
  • 2 0
Honestly the picture of the ladder should be painted in a memorial for Jordie. Just like the one they did for Craig Kelly at Northstar!

  • 3 0
Single logo print on the front chest by the heart.
  • 4 0
fuck ya! just ordered a shirt and stickers
  • 5 0
 I miss Jordie.

Would love to get behind this but the shipping to the UK costs a fortune. Any distributors for them in our neck of the woods?
  • 4 0
Unfortunately the Jordie collection is sold exclusively online, and we're located in Canada. We hear you about UK rates, and wish there was a cheaper way to send them.
  • 3 0
@endur: Fair enough, it does make sense. Good on you guys for bringing these out and supporting a sick cause!
  • 3 0
@james-skipper: I've just made an order to be sent to the UK, (ignore my flag I'm in England currently).

$18cad aint too bad I think, about £12.
However if you wanna order you could combine your order with mine and ship to my address and I will forward your order on for £5 or so, or you can come to derby to collect. Could sort something out I'm sure.

@endur would that be possible?

  • 2 0
Socks, Stickers and Shirts ordered!! Great products for a great cause
  • 2 1
@endur I went to order socks and the shipping shows as $10. Can that be right? Its a Canadian address.
  • 4 0
All shipping rates are weight and location based, directly pulled from Canada Post. All products ship from Victoria, BC and rates are more expensive the further East you are located in Canada.

Shipping is unfortunately expensive for parcels (even with our volume discount applied), and that doesn't include our packaging supplies costs (poly bags, labels, etc).
  • 2 0
 @endur:
Shipping is $8.61 and I live in Victoria. It’s for a good cause and I purchased them anyways but it would be good if there was a local pick up option.
  • 15 0
@Victoriamike: We appreciate your support and comment. In an effort to optimize our fulfillment strategy, we've had to limit variables and conditions set based on customer location. I think it can be underestimated just how much work has gone into this logistically, as well as the huge amount of work that still to be done after the pre-order is completed. Endur is donating it's time but still has to pay staff to get this done (on its own dime), while also running the day to day business - meaning the bulk of this work will be over time.

The shipping charges people pay are directly from Canada Post, and at a discounted rate given our status with them and as mentioned, don't even include other incurred costs such as shipping collateral. We're doing the best we can considering all factors. Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

UK options would be great! Smile
  • 2 0
UK shipping is available. It's not cheap, but it's also simply what it costs to ship.
  • 1 0
@endur: Yeah what I'm saying is a UK distributor would be so much better. atm I'm paying so much for shipping, where as if it was shipped from the UK in the first place, I could afford to spend more on the products themselves meaning more is going into the Jordi Lunn Fund
  • 3 0
@JoelAllport: A distributor would have extra fees to get this done (labour costs, import costs, shipping costs), effectively cancelling out any extra $ that would go to the fund by saving a few bucks on shipping.

As it stands, Endur is donating all time and all proceeds. This is what most overlook - beyond the obvious costs of product and shipping, there is 100's of hours that will go into fulfillment, on top of the numerous hours spent designing, producing, and organizing this the entire back end and responding to all inquires along the way. Endur is paying staff to get this done over weeks of work, at their expense.

In the end of the day, if you want to give money to the Lunn family without added costs - do it through the donation page. If you want to give money and receive a high quality product to honour Jordie, just pay the shipping.
  • 1 0
@robfraser4: I understand all of that completely but think that seeing as mountain biking has a huge following in the UK now it would be worth getting something set up here. They wouldn't need to ship anything from Canada to the UK. Just get everything printed in the first place.

Of course I can give some money if I wanted anyway, how do you know whether I have or not? Anyone can give money at any time. But it will obviously the reason they have offered products in return in the first place as an incentive is because it encourages more people to donate/buy.
  • 1 0
@endur: Will this be preorder only, or will there be a second run later next year?
  • 1 0
@BEERandSPOKES: Today at midnight will be the end of pre-order 1. This is to ensure timely delivery of the first batch. After today, we will continue to collect orders for an additional 2 weeks for a second batch which we will attempt to deliver before the new year, but will likely be delivered in early 2020.

All orders placed by end of day today will be delivered in 4-6 weeks from now.

Thank you to everyone for their support and patience. We've raised well over $30,000 to donate and counting! Let's keep it rolling.
  • 1 0
@endur: Got mine this week, they are awesome! Is there a plan for a batch 3, in 2020? Was hoping to order some for my squad, but I understand the deadline for the 2nd batch has passed weeks ago. (My bad.)

Ordered socks and stickers! Heck yes! Glad to help support this cause.
