While racing is still on hold in many countries, the Switzerland XC National Championships are already done and dusted for 2020. Once again the seemingly unstoppable Nino Schurter came out on top with a five-second lead on Mathias Flueckiger and his teammate Lars Forster settled for third position. After an incredible comeback from injury, Jolanda Neff laid down an amazing performance with a dominating two minute plus lead over the rest of the Elite Womens field. Check out the full results from the Swiss XC National Championships below.

She seems to have recovered rather well from the injury. With the cancellation of so many races, she barely missed any racing. A lucky unlucky incident!

Those Elite Swiss podiums could easily be World Cup Podiums. So much quality throughout. Beer

Anyone can get super fit with a well rounded skill set but it takes real time and effort to dissect forum chit chat, critique welding examples and become a kinematics geo guru, where's me beer?

Your beef is with the UCI. Pinkbike just copied the official results: dataride.uci.ch/iframe/EventResults/232287?competitionId=61123&disciplineId=7

Or maybe talk directly with Math Flueck: www.instagram.com/mathflueck

An umlaut means the letter followed by an e, for example ö is oe.

The Germans like to confuse people by doing things like schön (Pretty) and schon (Already) Big Grin

Did the Men and Women ride the same Course?

Looks like Jolanda put down the fastest time of the day

Whoa that's a good point. I mean, it wouldn't totally surprise me. I might be a fanboy, but Jolanda is that damn good and had something to prove - to herself if nobody else

Men Elite categories typically race one more lap than Women Elite in order for the winners' race times to be under 90 minutes. With a lap time of likely around 15 minutes, we can assume that Joland would be around 13-14 minutes back from Nino, which is still enormously impressive when you consider the number of talented riders who finish a lap or more behind him at World Cup events.

@cbenj42: the u23 men were down at 1:13, so I assume they did one lap less too, perhaps the same as the elite women?
