BUSINESS AS USUAL
WORDS AND PHOTOS: MATT WRAGG AND DAVE TRUMPORE
It would be wrong to call it an anti-climax, the racing this weekend has been nail-biting stuff, getting right down to the wire. And while the results may feel a little familiar, what has changed is how tight it is getting, more and more so each year. Just a handful of seconds separate the front runners in both the men's and women's fields and it can be the smallest things that make the final difference. So without further ado, we bring you the business end of the first EWS round of 2016...
1 Rude with a crash and still wins
2 Nico is still as good any anyone them. Is he the oldest rider in EWS?
3 Graves loses chain, hikes his ass up the hill to find it, repairs and ends up 8th!! 9-40 must feel demoralized! Dang!
And it was a 200km weekend!!!!! (For the guys that think this is "DH Light")
These guys are beasts! Good luck to all of them!
So two stages without a chain, some trailrunning in between, a sprint to stage 6 and... ending up 8th.
Pretty neat

On another note, anyone has been having issues with a side window that occupies a big part of the right side of the display???
Great work Richie Rude #1
5000 ISO on this one ep1.pinkbike.org/p6pb13314531/p5pb13314531.jpg .... Grainy beats blurry every day of the week.
I'm just pointing out it seemed to be a hard day to shoot & I personally liked the way some photos were rescued with this situation. Specifically the pair of photos you took at 5000 @davetrump . Absolutely not arguing about grainy beats blurry in those images.
Sorry for the misunderstandings.
