Who is Leading the Overall Standings?
For beer snobs, Hill Farmstead was rated #1 brewery in the world multiple times and is 30 minutes from here cheers

I want that beer though.
Why do you think the climbs aren't talked about or are considered interesting?
It will definitely put some extra lactic acid into the legs… hopefully there won’t be long wait times from the climb to their runs… that would make my legs go heavy/dead.
If I did my math right its 1,800' climbing day one and 5,200' on day two. That last 1,800' climb up that toll rode after climbing 3,600' certainly won't feel good, but I'd guess those EWS racers won't have too much issue with it, especially being paved.
I once had the beer that was awarded best in the world by the New York Times, a Swiss beer... Did not have a lot to do with beer. Not ugly-ugly, but just not beer-worthy ugly. So I'm hesitant now if someone claims to have the best beer in the world...
Just looked at the "top beers of all time list" and what makes me hesitant is the amount of US-beers.
My guess is, that the US-Americans just give out more 5-star ratings, while in other countries they are more nit-picking and give a 4.5 because the amount of CO2 maybe could be altered a small bit or the temperature 1°C lower or higher etc...
Just to be clear, this was now just speculation.
rode i burke some years ago and it was rad. hopefully the event will be a big success
