So in other words there are no deals

The helmet? "Was 1 bajillion" "but I'll give it to you for, $79.99"......."you seem like a good guy"
  • 30 0
@Kramz: roll-on up we've got XL helmets all your XL bright yellow helmets all the different XL bright yellow helmets in a brand you haven't tried come on down they are cheap cheap cheap we've got XL, and XL/L all the sizes you sir you have a big ole head why not try this XL bright yellow helmet and your son clearly takes after after you at this price why not have two. Go on throw in a third one for your big -headded mother in law try getting that in the stocking this Christmas and if you like this we've also got fox shorts from 3 years ago in size xxl! That's right xxl that's one more X and what's better iys completely unused and new. 3 years down the back of that shelf!

 The helmets are good

@browner: you have way too much time on your hands

How the f*ck is that womens Dunbar Cycles top even a thing to post? Jayzuz.
  • 1 0
I thought the 4% off the packs was the bad one from them ????
  • 4 0
WOW pinkbike mentioned Evil on their site!!!!

We really do live in privileged times. Yeah stuff is overpriced but look at all the options we have nowadays.

 $6900 ? What a deal!!!
  • 1 0
@bizutch: you could find one used on here for $3000
  • 1 0
@Krzymndyd: To be perfectly clear...I have not and will not EVER pay $3k for someone's sloppy mountain bike seconds. I will always start from new and thrash my through a bike's imperfections. Not ever going to trust someone else to have "babied" or "rode twice but needed a bigger size" or "shop floor model".

My money will go to something I put all the miles on from day 1.

@bizutch: totally get you but I get 2-3 new bike every couple of years some get ridden a couple of times some get ridden a lot. $9k bikes end up selling for $3k after 2 years. Just saying
  • 1 0
@Krzymndyd: yeah, the hard part of the $9k for $3k is trying to unload it when you're done with it and looking for the next new rig. When I used to race, even with all the deals we got, we'd have $2500-$3000 in on a bike that was brand new $6k. And at end of race season, we'd list them for $3k, get $2500 & try to flip that into the next season's bike.

And at the time those were the most high end bikes...

@bizutch: I agree the amount a bike will drop in price after just 1 year is insane. I sold my 2017 reign advance 0. $8,400 with tons of extras for $3000 after 16 months. And I had a hard time selling it for that. Now I have a 2019 reign that I want to get rid of but will take another hit on it

Hey guys we a have a deal on cranks that break easily. Wanna buy em?!
  • 4 1
These cranks break easy, but they won't break the bank!
  • 1 0
(I don't actually know if they break easy, but I thought that was funny)
  • 3 0
 @skills25:
Yeah they break... ask me how I know?! Lol
  • 1 0
 @ytjodave: how do you know?
  • 1 0
Theese cranks took out Gwin at the pro grt at mountian creek this year. He runs the cheeper alloy ones now @bizutch:
  • 1 0
@bizutch: I broke a 5 month old set last Monday. Check out my most recent photo uploads.

That being said, I did have a new set of cranks the same week Thursday and ride Friday.

On the same subject, my e*thirteen BB, which was also only 5 months old was shot. Drive side bearing was seized and the non-drive wasn’t far behind.
Not a fan.

@ytjodave: that sounds more like feedback. Original post just sounded like hyperbole. Thanks for clarifying. Just assumed we finally got past the mid-2000s FSA bending crank debacle years ago Smile
  • 2 0
We are one site does not show that deal.
  • 1 0
That’s not from We Are One directly it’s from Calgary Cycles.

 What? No Intense?
  • 1 0
garish color designs included at no charge
  • 2 0
@bizutch: haha, so true and I love Intense (have current M16c and 2019 Primer). But damn, it's like Stevie Wonder was given a colour palette to do the paintwork on the new Primers. I'll hold out a season in hope that Intense releases something us people with working eyes can buy.
  • 1 0
How should Gwin finish his house?
  • 1 0
@SimonD: I hate to be critical of them because Steber gave me my 1st grassroots deal & personally worked on my bike at Nationals. Just that I've clicked on them a ton in the last few years wanting to pull trigger but can't get past a lot of the graphics.
