Press Release: Miranda Bike Parts

At Miranda Bike Parts, we are thrilled to announce our 2018 international Enduro team – the Miranda Racing Team.

We, a Portuguese manufacturer of cranksets and bicycle drivetrain solutions, are committed to enduro and have taken a step further, from being the co-sponsor of the BH-Miranda Team in 2017, to the title sponsor of the team in 2018.

After a successful 2017 at the Enduro World Series, with a team podium and Alex Cure's second place in EWS Millau, together with Karim Amour Master's overall title, among some other good results, the team starts this season with a solid base and aiming for an even higher performance. The main competitions of this season's calendar are the Enduro World Series, which kicks off in Chile next week. Some other key events will be the MegaAvalanche Alp d'Huez, some eMTB races and some stops of the French and Portuguese enduro series.

The riders of the Miranda Racing Team will ride the BH Lynx 5 29er bikes equipped with the top of the range Miranda XMOD cranksets, chainrings and bottom brackets.

Miranda Racing Team wants to thank its 2018 supporters: BH Bikes, Michelin tires, Formula, EXT shocks, HT Components, Taya chains and Bluegrass.

Alexandre Cure
Alex goes into his second season with the team. After a very good season 2017 with his first podium in the EWS (2nd in Millau) he starts this season with a great confidence and the goal of keeping a solid consistency all season long. With his useful experience of being a rider that has not missed any EWS since his appearance in the series, he aims to show his real speed at every race and to become one of the main riders of the Series.

After scoring some great results in 2017 like making it into the top10 at some EWS stops and also a 2nd place at the last Stage of the season -DH Men- in Finale Ligure, the Portuguese rider has shown what he is capable of. José starts this new season with an experience that can help him the keep on the focus in achieving that level of results in every race.

So far Melanie has raced at three EWS events, back in 2015 and 2016, finishing in 6th place each time. With the motivation to enter into an official team structure and with the support of our partners, she can be one of the riders to watch in the women field at the European races.
