Morning mist hanging over the track, with inbound rain bands, some riders called it quits on the morning session and waited it out until the afternoon to ride.
The start gate was high up in the mountains, dropping in with an amazing backdrop of the Victorian Alps.
Having a flat in race run caused Victoria to go a little slower than she would have hoped but still focusses on the positives from the weekend.

Saturday afternoon brought along seeding. The only time you can compare your times against all of the other riders.
I was feeling really good all weekend, even with some small hiccups along the way but they didn't bother me. Race run was quite smooth and clean, I had a few mistakes, but that's what happens in racing, it's really hard not to. I'm a little bit disappointed with a 20th but I gave it everything I had and am looking forward to the next race! - Brent Smith |

Sundays final was frustrating. I had a near perfect run other than one major downfall, a simple slide out in a turn putting me back to 14th. That's three years in a row I've crashed out of the national Champs.
