Hope Gas 2 Flat Winner Announced!

Better late than never! We’ve finally got round to announcing the winner of the Hope Gas to Flat video competition.

Daniel Shaw from Vancouver was the clear winner in the vote as his HUGE drop at the end of the edit won over the crowds!

Despite some tough competition we reckon Daniel definitely deserved to win the full bike build of Hope products. With a choice of any colour of product to choose from, Daniel went for the much sought after TeamGreen.

 I couldn't agree more. I haven't got time to wait for most of these videos to get going with their arty gimble mounted cameras and shit. This video is a ripper. Those named brakes are the shit too hey. I'd love to get my name on a brake one day... even if I have to pay for them myself!

 I love Hope components and how they're machined- those brakes are a work of art.

 That drop in the video was insane! Regarding the brakes, my roommate and I both bought Hope V4 brakes a couple months ago, and they are great, but I do have a complaint about how fragile the levers are. There is too much weight saving and one crash broke my roommate's lever and one crash broke a lever on my set too. I wish there wasn't a race for gram saving on brakes.

 Run your levers loose, and that way they just rotate out of the way Instead of breaking.

 @dk1996: I do run my levers and shifter loose, and I can rotate them with one hand, but I still broke a lever.

 DSR ( Daniel shaw racing!!!)... Showed up at the Port Angeles northwest cup and ripped the cat 1 course and grabbed the top spot in the jr expert class. Podium pics in a whistler t shirt!!! No shore like the north shore!
