@VTwintips: all of my press-fit Shimano bottom brackets are several years old and work flawlessly. All of my Race Face bottom brackets were removed and thrown in the trash.

@properp: ... me too, but I don't see how that is relevant in this conversation. anyways, maybe the couple has been having too much fun utilizing a well-lubed seattube to ever bother with the other option. although, good headtube can never be turned down. except in a movie theatre. not a good place for bicycles in my opinion.
