The results are in from Les Gets after some incredible racing. Amaury Pierron went flat out in his race run besting fellow Frenchman Loic Bruni to the top spot. Both French riders were looking fast all week but a crazy run from Pierron put him over two seconds ahead. Breaking up the French party at the top would be Laurie Greenland and Troy Brosnan. Loris Vergier completed the top five and made it three French riders in the top five. Brendan Fairclough laid down a great run that looked unbeatable for most of the day as he secured a sixth place on the new Scott Gambler.
In the Elite Women's Tracey Hannah would get her second win of 2019 just beating Marine Cabirou by only
0.677 seconds. Mariana Salazar crossed the line two seconds back in third with Eleonora Farina getting a podium spot for the Mondraker team. Nina Hoffmann managed to stay upright and keep both her shoes on this weekend and finished fifth. Vali Höll set the fastest time of the day for all women, showing again she will be a real podium threat when she moves up to the Elite rank next year.

First time she is the fastest woman of the day!
@jackalope: Yeah you're correct about that one. I'm wondering though how much Loris Vergier was actually holding back.
Yeah, that's why the last man down won by more than two seconds. The nastier, the better. Maybe not for everyone, but Amaury seems to like it.
And claiming that Tracey rode "composed" is also bollocks in my view. Marine was too close all the days for her to not give all she could; i don't believe she did not go full in, she wants the win, she has to give it all.
Vali is incredible!
With all those countries doing so great, the only thing that worries me are the Brits. There used to be so much fresh blood 10-15 years ago. Now the national series isn't quite what it used to be and we're seeing fewer young riders make it up there. With all they've brought to the sport, I'd love to see them back up there.
Cheers!
Now it`s my turn to be down voted

How did I get downvoted for that? They obviously didn’t watch the race. Haha

Has Hart dropped back a long way?
Rachel will always be the one she couldn’t beat to win the overall
It would personally annoy me winning without beating her
It was her 1st WC DH race of the season (she didn't qualify her earlier attempt) after her switch to enduro as a result of injuries & pressure from the previous year & sponsor.
A solid performance. Like I said.
PS: She's still faster than you'll ever be.
