The idea of "Exploring the UNknown" was to come to this place with no expectations at all and just see and take what we get. In the end we have been the very first ones to ride a bike there and had another first descent ride in our pocket coming home.
First day, first hike, first ride.
Rocky. Loose. Dusty. Rough. After some days of hiking and searching for something rideable we have been happy to find some proper Freeride lines on this small island.
Looking forward to getting to know the culture and see how life is going on in this area of Africa we went for a visit at the only real city Mindelo. Great time to meet people and for sure a lifechanging experience as they are very poor but happy, nice and friendly.
Another hike and freeride day after a long morning walk to a different area we found.
Riding the coast with the chance to enjoy a lonely sunset was very special and for sure something we´ll never ever forget again in our lives.
Beach and grill time with the locals we already made friends with. Such a great time feeling the spirit of their life. Big THANKS to KitesurfNOW as well for being welcome at your place!
White rocks out of sand. Be careful riding or walking, they break once you put a little too much weight on.
What an honor to have the chance to visit a small village right next to the sea, be welcome there and even have the chance to be the first white people to go inside some small locals houses. Also happy to see the kids having fun with us.
Shuttle ride with some locals joining us.
After some long hiking days we were happy to find this path we at least were able to do a bit of Enduro riding on as well. Special one by the way with a view over the sea like this.
Steep and rocky rides with the view over the whole island. Spectacular.
Enjoy the last sunset at this beautiful place.
Good bye Sao Vicente. It was an amazing time.
Welcome back home. Airport time. First look at the trip photos. Can´t wait for the next one.
