I know it's tradition - you do a great job, but it's the fourth day of Advent. 28th Dec is fourth day of Christmas. Yours pedantically

 * today is actually the sixth day of advent this year but going with PBs calendar

Just noticed the first day has "changed" from your original version. Incognito Robin have something to do with that?

I think I'll give this one a miss, good luck North Americans!

I do wish we had the 2" hitch standard in the UK. Clamping things on the tow ball has never felt like a nice solution!
  • 2 1
@Woody25: However, even if you can attach this carrier to the csr, it would be illegal here without lights and car plate..
  • 1 0
@Woody25: I can't imagine why that became the way. The ball clamp looks sketch.

 This rack sits pretty lolo.

 Enjoy this one US readers

If this ends up being the first thing I ever win from pinkbike, I’ll gladly put it on my Honda Civic

Can’t wait to stick this on the old Ford Fiesta!

Would make my Mazda Miata a killer for shuttles
  • 1 0
@sikedallam: I need an 8 bike rack for my van. Shuttle the whole city.
  • 2 0
@fruitsd79: I actually had a buddy weld up an 8-bike rack for my pickup. Shuttle monster. Bought 8 DIY hooks from Lolo Racks, and had him weld some scrap steel tubing into a frame.

Other than giving the bikes a fractionally better chance at survival when they fall off the rack when that lil bit of ruber perishes, why have the tires facing outward?
All I can see is getting more mud on my post ride clothes and a bigger pain in the arse trying to get that one bike in the middle out if that rider is getting dropped off 1st on the way home.

I made the mistake of buying a Hangover 4-the rubber straps do perish and the bikes can twist in crosswinds so I have to use mini tie down straps for added security. There are numerous better functioning designs out there. The drop down feature to access the tailgate/boot on my station wagon is the best feature.

Would this look funny on a Camry with only one bike? Asking for a friend.
  • 2 0
 Nah, it will look rad.
  • 2 0
If I win it I’m buying a Camry
  • 4 0
I've got fuck all use for that
  • 2 0
 m8
  • 3 0
Nope. Had one of these. Nearly lost a buds V10 off it on a cross wind on the highway. Returned immediately.
  • 2 0
I have seen these racks post similar incident. Crosswind is a thing, but so is UV/general degradation of the rubber holding straps. That's problematic when it's the only thing holding your bike on the hook.
  • 4 0
@iammarkstewart: yeah, looks like plastic blocks with rubber straps which will deteriorate. The NSR rack is criticized for being crude but the solid metal fork prongs will never fail.
  • 4 0
If I win can I exchange this for a Lolo rack?
  • 3 0
Must be fun to have this loaded with 6 ebikes and drive down the Autobahn
  • 1 0
Most 2 inch hitches for small suvs are only rated for 200 pound tongue weight. That setup has to be over 250. Throw on an ebike or two and the car or hitch will break.
  • 3 0
Most wanted needed thing i could dream about
  • 1 0
Yakima is such trash, I cannot believe this thing is $1000 USD. I think I would rather take a steel Recon Rack, or Velocirax for less than this piece of garbage.
  • 3 0
 Is the car included?
  • 3 0
Better deal would be 6 Santa Cruz bikes
  • 1 0
@DizzyNinja: Dunno mate looks like it might be a Landcruiser. It'll be worth more.
  • 1 0
 It's a 4Runner
  • 2 0
I wouldn't kick this shore rack off my car for being backwards
  • 2 0
It’s so when you get re ended the tires give you a fighting chance.
  • 2 0
 @natecher: Maxx Defense
  • 2 0
"I won! But I'mma gonna need more bikes love!"
  • 1 0
I see these around, I'd like to know the advantage of these vs the standard two prong bike rack I've always used.
  • 1 0
I already have a bike rack, so I'll let this hang for someone else that actually needs this
  • 2 1
Not going down that rabbit hole.
  • 2 1
 y?
  • 1 0
Front wheel drive car is a must
  • 1 0
Looks like a tool rack on a landscapers truck.
  • 3 3
Don't rackon on winning this one!
  • 1 0
