Details Announced for the Provence Enduro Kid MTB Cup in France
PRESS RELEASE: Provence Enduro Kid MTB CUP
The south has always been a great area for Mountain Bike Enduro Races, but one had to wait a very long time to have organized circuits in the area of France for kids. However, there are a lot of riders and clubs in the region.
The first Enduro race “Enduro des Minots” was organized by the MTB Martigues Club in 2015 and a great successful. The next ones demonstrate a growing interest for these types of circuits encouraging more clubs to propose races for kids over 9 years old such as DTB (Club from Salon-de-Provence), Tribal Sport ( Club located in Gémenos).
A mix of all these races was attempted in 2017 but never came through. Finally at the end of 2019, the « Provence Enduro Kid MTB CUP » (PEKMTBCUP) was created and officially recorded in the 2020 agenda.
Everything was set up but for the Covid-19 crisis and restrictions implemented by the French authorities. Every event was cancelled one after the other therefore it was with the deepest sorrow that we had to cancel the 2021 Challenge.
Perseverance, determination and hard work paid off. Thanks to promotors involvement to find the best circuits for the youngest, sponsors / partners like AXOREO, Authentic Bicycle Shop, eChrono for their contributions and donations, the support and big boost given by Lionel Beccari, this event is coming to life.
Meanwhile the event is expanding with 3 new races, 6 rounds planned for this 2021 season and some more circuits coming up.
Let‘s cross our fingers for this year to be the best. The event is starting end of June and will last until end of October. The racers must be 9 to 16 years old and are limited to 150.

- Enduro kid of Bavella with the Bavella BIke Park (2A) - 30 - 31/10
