King Charles out for a rip.

Charlie Hatton has announced that he has fractures in his arm and wrist after a crash during finals at the Loudevielle World Cup last weekend. It's sad to see Charlie out of action, especially after his fantastic win at this year's World Championships at Fort William.

bigquotesNot the news I want to be sharing but unfortunately after my crash in Loudenvielle finals, I have some fractures in my arm/wrist. The highs and lows of the sport can be savage at times! Good luck to everyone at Les gets this weekend. As always thanks Atherton Racing for having my back. Charlie Hatton

We wish Charlie all the best for his recovery and hope he is back racing soon.

You'd almost think its more dangerous when its dry............................

It was not really dry but the worst mix of drying but slippery. It very depends on how the grip on the track works but here it was clearly random given there were many super slick spots that took out many riders

Race should be cancelled now. Too dangerous. Too much sun in the medics eyes also.

@browner: Yep, the medics are spoiled brats. Whatever the dangers they should be forced to take up their stations so you can be entertained - at gunpoint, if necessary

@tigerfish50: I don't watch the races but the whole thing is quite entertaining at this point.

 Was it muddy?

@northernwig: clearly the grocery store was dry in some spots and very slippery in others.

@northernwig: Are you kidding? Supermarkets spray gallons of water and leave buckets of dirt on lettuces. Result? Those blown-out turns at the end of the aisles are super sketchy near closing time for the late riders

Watch your corner speed exiting asile 2 and careful about basket weight to arm ratio. It's dangerous out there :p
