The highly anticipated and sold out 4th round of the Cascadia Dirt Cup headed to a sunny and dry Tiger Mountain. A welcome change from
last year. In a collaboration between Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance(EMBA) and Department of Natural Resources(DNR) to increase the Tiger trail system to roughly 25 miles; there has been 4 new trails established over the last 2 years. The newest trail, Off-the-Grid, opened just weeks before race day. DNR’s construction of the Off-the-Grid Trail with the help of EMBA volunteers were funded through a grant from the state’s Non-highway and Off-Road Vehicle Activities Program. DNR also has secured grant funding to build two additional trails to complete the next phase of its expansion with one trail being labeled as a "technical descending trail." The CDC donated $4000 to help in these efforts.

althought TKS is a beast and deserves wayyy more respect that this report delivered.
Requiring me to pass a rider from my own stage is one thing, having to pass riders from a different stage is ridiculous!
No timer at the bottom of stage 1 is unacceptable, thanks for taking me out of the points race with this one CDC...
Beautiful day, cool people, waay cool trail system.
But the shared part of stage 1 and stage 2 was only 30s to 1 minute long. As long as people between stages 1 and 2 were 30 seconds apart there was no issue. That first part also is fun as hell. The root boost off to clear the rough section was a hoot and I for one am glad they included it.
