The Norca Canadian Enduro Series Presented by LEATT is pleased to announce its 2022 Race Calendar. Spanning an “Island to Rockies” geographic footprint, the series will include 8 tour stops in some of the most breathtaking resort locations, featuring some of the best Enduro mountain bike trails in Western Canada.

Commenting on this exciting calendar of events, Matt Holbrook, Managing Director of the NCES, stated “coming out of the pandemic, we realize that people are craving recreational pursuits and travel opportunities. Our 2022 NCES locations will provide exactly what Enduro racers across the country have come to expect from the NCES. Throw in over $20,000 of prize money and a new ‘presented by’ series partner in Leatt, along with lower registration fees for all riders, and this will be a year like no other”.

Starting at Harper Mountain in Kamloops, and weaving its way across BC while dipping into Alberta, one of the highlights that is new to the NCES will be a stop on Vancouver Island. And what a stop it will be, with 9 stages in total; 4 stages on day 1 at Mt Washington, followed by 5 stages on day 2 on the technical trails of Cumberland. Yes, 9 stages, the most ever for an NCES race weekend, and sure to be talked about for years to come!

With back-to-back weekends in June, Crowsnest Pass and Revelstoke are crowd-pleasers and always spoken of favourably by riders. July will not only bring the Island into the NCES fold, but also see a return to Panorama Mountain Resort at the end of the month. August will be a rest month for NCES riders, but September brings a triple whammy with Big White and Sun Peaks creating an amazing Okanagan swing to highlight the middle of the month. The series will then finish in Whistler in late September with the 2022 Norco Canadian Enduro Championships.

Registration for all races opens December 15, with extremely low early bird rates in effect for 30 days. All race dates and the planned events at each race weekend can be found on the website.

About the Norco Canadian Enduro Series

The NCES has become the flagship enduro series in Canada, and the preeminent enduro series
in North America. For 2022, the focus of the NCES will be once again; expert riders, technically and physically demanding stages, BIG days, with some new exciting venues thrown into the mix. While the current covid issues exist, it will take the NCES until 2023 to spread our wings back across the country, but for 2022 we will have a true “Island to Rockies” west coast series that will have amazing resort locations and even better racing opportunities.

Can we suggest renaming it the BC enduro series for truth in advertising.....I dont enduro bro but would suck to be in the east if I did....Otherwise looks like a solid series of races.

They would probably still have east coast stops if blue mountain didn't close their bike park

 @DIYsandvich: Le Québec dit bonjour.

The east coast (Quebec) already has the Marin Wildside series, and I don't think there was enough participation outside of blue mountain to justify both series, and now the CNES only does western races.

They cancelled my home course in 2019 due to a lack of entry, but the Wildside held it this past season with pretty good turn out.

Weird to announce a schedule without...a schedule.

Doesn’t include schedule in article…

The downfalls of such a large country. Live in central or on the east and want to contest the "National" series... Too bad.

I mean....this is the BC Series haha. Crowsnest is like 5 feet across the border from BC, thats the only one outside of BC proper.

Canadians from the east complaining about lack of representation.

 From their website

" With the current covid issues across the country, it will take us until 2023 to spread our wings back across the country, but for 2022 we will have a true “Island to Rockies” west coast series that will have amazing resort locations and even better racing opportunities"

Kind of feels like when us westerners get told to cheer for the Leafs or Jays because it's the Canadian thing to do, eh?

Why wouldn't you want all the events in the west... It's a MTB mecca... Give us Saskatchewan and Manitoba Enduro series they say

People in the east want to race too? Also Quebec has great riding all over it. Bromont and MSA are both there and have both had world cups in the past.

Sask has got a fun little Enduro series happening

Would really love it if the Canadian Enduro Series had some races in other parts of Canada. Makes it tough to race your national series if you have to fly cross the country for every event. Im not saying there needs to be an even split of west/east races but at least have one or two in the east to make the series legitimate. Renaming the series seems to be the best option as it is just false advertising at this point with limited representation of talent in Canada. Good luck with your west coast enduro series in 2022

Ummm, hello covid and health restrictions that impacted events, anyone? The NCES has said that they'll come east in 2023 post-pandemic!

Stop complaining about lack of representation out east

Racing downhill your only choice was to race in Quebec or you’d be stuck without a chance to earn points. Will we ever get a World Cup again after grouse? Who knows for sure, but without question it’s not the great organizers in Quebec’s fault us westerners can’t get our act together.

Yes it felt unfair, but in the end it was solely our fault. Somehow I feel like most of those complaining wouldn’t even show up if it was in their backyard.

With no races beyond the Rockies rename the series.

Kind of like the world series aye?
Great opportunitry to come visit a lot of great riding zones in BC and the little gem of Crowsnest in Alberta.

Sounds like all you big babies in Eastern Canada should get together and start your own race series.

There is one already it's called the Marin Wildside. They actually took over the Bromont and Camp Fortune stops when the NCES dropped them after the 2019 season.

Not happy that its only on the west coast...

Anyone else notice it is the norca series.

Been a few years, but I am excited to do some racing again next summer!
