If the back bone of a good riding scene is its
riders, its lungs are definitely the trails. Great trails breathe life into a scene, pushing riders to go faster, harder and further. They keep the scene fresh, and growing.
The Bell Ride Free tour started at the Forest of Dean and dropped in on Hamsterley Forest this weekend for more amazing trails. With over 30 miles of trails including fast, fun and gnarly black and red trails it was the perfect location to Ride Free. It was a busy day on the trails with 200 riders on the hill for a day of free uplifts courtesy of Descend Hamsterley and Bell. The riders were treated to plenty of great trails – but the real action went down on the Black downhill run. Stand out riders were young gun Morgan Webb who was showing the old dogs how it was done and Adam Subbaby who must have thought he was at the Whip off Worlds in Whistler rather than northern England! Adam was oozing style on the table tops with his whips!
If a day of free uplifts wasn’t enough, the riders also got a free swag bag filled with Bell kit and a chance to find the golden ticket and win a helmet. It was a great day with great riding and great trails. Cheers Bell!
