Freeride Tours Ready For Another Season

This year we have an amazing group of guides and an all-star
cast of guest guides. Some of the guest guides will be joining us for the
course of the trip and others will be partaking during select days. Every
season the tours evolve and become more of an encompassing experience. As many
clients find out,the true depth of this experience is often only discovered
after the trip ends when one finds oneself longing for the trails and comradery
provided during the trip. During this season expect to explore new
locations,to spend less time travelling and more time riding and for the camp
fire to burn brighter than ever before!

Imagine yourself, inside a comfortable air-conditioned van. Its late afternoon,
and you've just finished a day of riding some of the most unique trails you've
ever been on, in the heart of British Columbia. You're on your way to the
campsite, where you'll have a hearty hot dinner prepared for you, and where
you'll sit around a campfire, with a scenic backdrop in the distance. After
recounting tales of the trails with the guides and your fellow tripgoers, you
realize this is one of the best riding days you've had in who knows how long.
And then you suddenly remember that there's still seven more days of the same
yet to come.

Welcome to the "8-Day Freeride Adventure." A truly unique, all-inclusive
mountain bike trip designed with the advanced and expert rider in mind.
Yourself and seven other like-minded individuals gathered together for a eight
days of incredible riding and good times. Of course, there is only one area
such an experience could possibly take place, and that is British Columbia,
Canada. This is a place where biking skill is gauged by skinnies and drops, not
climbing ability and lap times; where the weight of a bike is secondary to its
durability; and where endless mountain ranges and incredibly varied terrain has
provoked the development of the most dedicated and extensive mountain bike
communities in the world. This place is also the very home of Freeriding
itself. From the North Shore, to Nelson, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Squamish, and
Whistler, there is no comparison to BC when it comes to hardcore riding
destinations.

The trip consists of 8 days of riding, each day of which is spent at a
different location, with the travelling done in the mornings. Actual
destinations are based upon the trail conditions at the time of the trip, but
the complete list of destinations includes: North Shore, Kamloops, Sun Peaks,
Kelowna, Williams Lake, Whistler, Squamish, Nelson, Rossland, Kaslo, and
Golden. As well, we will be scouting new locations early in 2003 to ensure
those who come along get access to the absolute finest BC has to offer. The
majority of the trails we ride are all-downhill and you will be driven to the
top of the trails on access roads in our van, meaning you'll actually have the
energy to last the whole 8 days.

Of course the riding is not all this trip is about. Each night, we will stay at
campgrounds which are typically situated on the sides of lakes, rivers, or the
ocean, and most of which have full facilities. Would it make sense to go to one
of the last great outdoor recreation capitals of the world and stay in hotels
every night? We didn't think so. The camping completes the atmostphere of the
trip, and allows for lots of hang out time, to give that 'roadtrip with the
buddies' kind of feel. Except on this road trip, you won't get lost, you don't
have to do the driving, and all your meals are well-planned and prepared for
you.

Our guides are all highly experienced and qualified. In addition to our main
guides, we will be hosting several guest guides this year; people who you'll
recognize from the latest freeride films, magazines, and competitions; people
like: Super-T Tyler Klassen, Dangerous Dan Cowan, Hoots Jay Krantz, Dylan
Tremblay and Wade Simmons.
These guides will be able to give you their inside
point of view on the world of professional freeriding, and show you the
optional lines on the trails that we won't let most of our guests try. Guides
and special guests will be announced as the trips approach nearer. Check out
the guides page for photos and info on our guides.
