Whistler's riding season has come to a close. The days are short, snow has begun to fall, and the bike park is shut down for the winter. Ski season is about to begin, with opening day being this Saturday. Last month was an entirely different story. Taking advantage of the last stretch of nice weather, Zander ripped a couple of the valley's hidden gems, far away from the lift lines.
@Wesselized true - @mattsavage true, especially in the "student city's"... wish i could do that part of my life all over again & again & again & ow wait.. i mean bikes are awesome!
so you say that living in the downhill and freeride paradise sucks.. try lithuania, maybe then youll understand what sucks, then the hardest trail, lasts for a 1min if you ride it like chill..
For Christmas this year I would very much like some loam. If you do not know what that is Santa, its the same texture as the snow you are all too familiar with, and the direct opposite of UK gloop.
Rode the park for 2 seasons then bought an enduro... Best decision of my life. Some of those "XC" trail are much gnarlier than anything in the park, plus you get access to a much better terrain quality not to mention the calm of not being in the park. This is what mountain bike is all about right there my friends.
not everyone forgets! when I lived in whistler i rode the majority of the time on the valley trails. also, crazy that some of those shots were filmed right off of roads in the various whistler neighborhoods (like the jumpline!). whistler is a mecca!
I lived for 3 years just 5 minutes away from that view on the Alta Lake on the first picture... WHY THE F* DID I LEAVE?!?!? I'll be back, that's for sure.
Sick edit and riding but what is the name of the trail system in the valley? is it just Whistler's trails in the valley? haha, cuz i know there is lost lake trails but those might not be them.
Ahh. Riding in day light. I miss that. By the time I finish work, it's dark. Throw the light on and ride adds a different element to the trail but I still miss daylight.
try living east end of canada ontario really sucks nothing to ride around here at all planing on going on vacation out west next year and might not come back here

(My flag above may give you a clue to the right answer.)
And cats don't listen. They have that "f*ck you" attitude.
I'll be back, that's for sure.
