Possibly something similar to 2012-2013 where they stopped being monster-energy specialised and some of the team's sponsors were changing but hadn't been announced yet.
The Heat Connor was referring to for anyone interested, day one of practice was off due to the temp reaching 47 (116.6F), day two was 39 (102.2) with only riders and Marshall's allowed on track, luckily the weekend dropped down to about 28 (82.4).
Anyone who hasn't watched the Kona video of the race, crimmins 1st in U19 lost his chain about half way down, still only 4 sec off first place elite.....so keen to see this kid at the worldcups this season.
Really!? Was it bad? I watched this again on my ipod and it sounds normal, I had it plugged into a big subwoofer the first time and got some ridiculous bass out of it
crazy hot up (down?) here last week. Cooled down a bit for XCO and DH race days, but it was so hot, no spectators were allowed in the bike park due to the bushfire risk. Unfortunately some nutjobs and lightning strikes have caused some pretty bad fires here, putting lots of homes at risk.
(... Just kidding)
OTB vid from the U19 race at the same comp youtu.be/6dZWO_5vbRw, both rider and bike appeared fine.
