Sheffield, South Yorkshire (UK) has a huge and diverse range of riding. For the riders who live here, it provides an almost endless playground of trails.
Sheffield Locals is a series of webisodes that will be produced over the winter. Episode One was filmed over the space of a weekend at Grenoside and Narnia. The lighting in both these places was amazing, especially in the open section of Grenoside and the top of Narnia. Combine this with the autumnal colours that make this time of year so incredible and you have no reason not to go out with the camera.
We suffered a few setbacks whilst filming this edit, most notably Oli crashing and damaging his bike to the point where he couldnt ride, so we had to cut saturday's filming in Grenoside short, instead spending a large chunk of the afternoon driving back to sheffield to fix his bike and then driving back out again. I feel this was all worth it though for the final video.
The colours at this time of year are pretty amazing
Behind the scenes of my ghetto cablecam...an old bmx rim, two metal bars welded together, two jockey wheels and a length of washing line cable
The light at Narnia was pretty nice as well!
Watch out for episode two!
