Rocky Hell Road: Mountain BIking in the Basque Country: Doug Mcdonald takes his Cove G-Spots up, and down, a local mountain. The descent is unrelentingly rocky and technical, but the G-Spot is perfect for this. I've got Marzocchi 55's on the front and it really carries great speed over this technical terrain. You can read more about this route over on the BasqueMTB website: Rocky Hell Road.

What's with BMXers being too cool for helmets? A kid and his mom came into my buddy's shop the other day and the mom asked my buddy to try to convince her son he should wear a helmet when riding. My friend and I were amazed that not wearing a helmet was 'cool' and wearing one isn't, but I guess vids like this explain it. Head injuries are not funny at all, wear a lid.
Too right. You'd think they'd heard Mike Aitken's story. I'd be dead without a helmet or at least sucking food through a straw, at least three times that I can remember (and one of those times I can't remember, if you know what I mean).
It's the oldest one, Van Homan, that's wearing a helmet. And he has a brake. Experience, huh?
Van Homan was my favourite street rider back in the day. He was unbelievable.
The only thing that could make MFYM even better is if I only had to click play once and watch all 21 vids in a row! Think of all the time I could save on scrolling and clicking...
Lumberjacks 2011 - United States invented rednecks, but evidently eastern Europeans have perfected it. Also, more proof that only Canadians know how to ride snowmachines.
