Shoot... I woke up and realized to number 5 should have been “5 folded chain rings”. That would have sounded more like the real song’s “5 golden rings”.

 next year!

Taj, the Skynet of Sunday comics. Working his way toward self-awareness.

The droppers not a-raising still has me laughing, we've all been there.

I do not know the song, can you sing please?
  • 1 0
Ah, there is a song... That explains years of confusion while reading the comment sections of the advent calenders.
  • 4 0
@Mattin: its a famous old xmas song. I have no idea what half of it means though. It relates to advent. My knowledge of that is a calendar with chocolate in.

I think those maids are milking us some fresh stan's lol

great comics - @sewer-rat has been doing similar in the Pinkbike Advent comments. Keep up the great work both of you. Makes me laugh.

Let's not forget @Redshift for his epic contributions of the past years. Salute
  • 19 2
@Dropthedebt: thanks! I also feel the cynic in me thinks @sewer-rat is doing a better job at it!
  • 19 0
@redshift: no chance dude, you are the pioneer - I’m just a wasted sewer rat

It hurts just looking at the cartoon for padal raking
  • 1 0
Shin pads are such a PITA to put on. There's no hope.

that moment after your foot slips and before you get bit, when the dry old neglected pedal just whines that spinning sound of..... OWWW .i got scars but its that zinging sound that haunts me.
  • 2 0
i can feel them grinding on my shin bone
  • 8 1
The two pedals raking brought back bad memories of Odyssey Triple Trap pedals. Dug into your shins way better than any shoes, ever!
  • 2 1
Same here! Although I had the Oddsey Sharkbites. The pedals are long gone but the scars are still there.
  • 1 1
@rpl3000: The Sharkbite's!? Definitely no better. I also still bear the scars
  • 4 0
I have a Hutch bear trap scar, circa 1980!
  • 3 0
 ...typo...circa 1986...

@CircusMaximus: Those things were gnarly !!! OUCH
  • 1 0
@ATV25: haha for sure. Your foot didn’t slip often but watch out if it did!
  • 1 0
Twenty6 Predators. Those things have tattoo'd my shins. Free of charge even.
  • 2 0
@krashDH85: I wouldn’t say free of charge. Those things were at least $190. Lol
  • 2 0
@dscottycole: Right, yes...wasn't talking about the pricetag, was talking about the pedals not charging to destroy my shins. Mine as well buy Welgo's, blah blah.

Really cool. Reminded me of Villain’s 12 Days of Shredmas: youtu.be/S3tQK8QqmD0

On the 12th day of Shredmas
The trail gods gave to me:
12 Rollers Rolling
'leven Tables Topping
10 Walls a Ridding
Nine Gnarly Skinnes
Eight Drops a Dropping
Seven Berms a Shredding
Six Gaps a Gapping
Five Points of Steeze
Four Riding Buds
Three Death Grips
Two Techy Climbs
And a “Send it” I landed with ease!
  • 2 0
I was also thinking it was similar to Villain’s 12 days of Shredmas. Nice find that video was. Plus those guys have some really cool components and apparel and lots of cool colors.

Quick, patent that suspension design in 11th comic before it's too late!
  • 3 0
Already too late to patent the design, but you could have just registered posted it to your self & kept it sealed!
But if any one copy it we can send them all hate mail until they stop!
  • 3 0
@Tajlucas been a fan of yours since the props road fools, etnies days.

This video is a must watch.

What happened to that PB user who posted 12 days of Christmas a couple of years ago. Did a great job with it, we all loved it but got sweet FA from PB?
  • 3 2
...and that’s not to take away from this fine work.

Nine grand on the credit card!? Must’ve been Carbon! Lol

The partridge literally made me spit out my coffee. Also, what a waste of a tasty bush-chicken.
  • 1 0
I've been singing my kids the regular 12 Days of Christmas at night before they go to bed. I'm going to try this modified version tonight and see how it goes.
  • 2 0
Lol. The Xc breakers was funny.
  • 1 0
I LOL'd at that one too. I once saw a guy head down our local jump trail (7-27 on Moose Mountain) on an XC Hard Tail in full lycra and his 3 foot high seat post. Instantly took me back!
  • 2 0
The last one is best though. That's how we all feel in the end Smile

I love the way he makes a mockery of some of the sport's most hyped technologies.
