Awesome bike! But I have to admit that I like the 2011 frame better But it's still a Bottlerocket with an awesome partliste. I am impressed and feel so sad that I have to sell mine
how do you tell which version bottlerocket you've got?
I'm looking at replacing all the bearings and don't know which version I've got. are there really 6 versions?!
take a look at the rear bearings by the drop out, if they're smaller than all the rest you have a V1 frame, all the others have the same size pivots and the bearing kits are compatible with all versions from v2 onwards

They got smaller again on the last generation.
V1 - small dropout bearings V2 - large dropout bearings V3 - cutout at the shock mount on the top tube
Can't remember whether it was V4 or 5 that switched to tapered steerer, ISCG05 and larger seat tube.
The old transition importer Brighton Surf and Cycle Ltd from a couple of years ago has loads of stock on their shelves but they are no longer a Transition importer / seller so they do the kits really cheap.
