Now keep in mind, this is no way discrediting any other producers you guys mentioned. I'm a fan as well. But those dudes aren't in the same company as Premier, Pete Rock, Marly Marl, RZA, Dre, Large Professor. These guys laid down the foundation for newer guys in the game and heavily influenced everyone after them.
new NERD album pharrell is one of my favorite producers of this generation and potentially one of the best in terms of sound and music vision cant say the album quite lived up to my expectations but they were super high to begin with and its good nonetheless. plus its only been out for a day which is way too short to really get a sense of how much i like it.
