It looks like you found some trail action, how soggy was it?
That SportyPal, do you use it on your cell phone? That's how I use endomondo and I have been comparing it with my Garmin Edge (which stopped recording at one point and subsequently skipped 4km lastnight...). I like it a lot, but I'm getting a new phone and am not sure it it will work on the new one...all in all they look pretty similar, endo and sporty that it.
Some of the trails were pretty wet in spots, but just enough to make it fun!
Oh, and I like your idea of using this section to post and organize rides! Using this would be more inclusive than my text idea, which I selfishly proposed due to my phone's inability to alert me to new posts here on PB. I can, obviously access PB from almost any computer I have access to, I just dont want to miss a riding opportunity if someone posts last minute...haha
Making sure I grab my bike bag instead of my squash bag would likely help too, though I will likely just keep both in the car from now on, so if you're interested in a game of squash at the rec center...I'm a member!

Hey Man,
Yeah I do use it on my phone, if you check out my workouts I took the same route both times but there is also a 5km discrepency... I am not sure how becuase it calculates the route after the fact i.e. opps I missed the last so many KM but he didn't teleport from point b to point c fill that in. It is on my cell (Blackberry Torch), I just toss it in my Camel pak with the program running.
Sounds like fun, I'll have to pop my flats back on though I don't run the clipless on real trails yet.

I hear yeah, I have to try keep all my bike gear near the door, I don't like taking my bike around with me on my current bike rack, I had to stolen of of it last summer, so the bike stays at home till I am ready to ride.
As far as the txt plan I do still like that. If we're trying to get a ride on and no one has seen someone post that usualy likes to go, fire them a txt as well. Crankinstien is programmed into my phone

Good call! My friends call me Evan though lol
Purhaps a post along the lines of "Planning on a ride this Sat, weather permitting, thinking KR or area. Text 705-xxx-xxxx if interested."...?
Yeah the 4 loops I have on there if they were all viewable are what I normally do right outa my front door, theres a few other conservation areas not too far away but are really hilly rides and Im really out of shape after the winter so I'll be driving there once they dry up. Really also wanna hit up the dirty enduro loop in the ganaraska and logs over easy in durham forest, anyone been on them?

I spent a lot of time at Ganaraska the year before last, but I dont recall any trail names, same goes for Durham. I find that I spend the majority of my trail riding time at Long Sault Conservation Area, there are some great ups and downs and loops galore. They also have some pretty spooky names to get you all freaked out...The Blue Bird, The Wild Turkey, and my personal favorite for warming up...what I like to call The Killer Bunny loop lol

Havnt lived around here for too long and just getting back into biking after 5 or 6 years away from it, so I wanna scope everything in the area out this summer. Longsault is in Enniskillen right?

I know there's an Enniskillen near Long Sault...but I dont think they're connected...
You know what's funny, neither yyou, digi or myself have been in this town very long...should make for some pretty intense trail exploration!
Post up the rides guys. I just got back into biking last summer and would like to check out some local stuff. I'll be the chubby slow one taking the rear position, just spent the winter on my butt after breaking my back using a telephone pole to stop my car when I hit black ice.
