you realize they're not going to care about out-of-towners because they're not markham taxpayers...
if anything, the fact that they see so much interest from people from other towns may dissuade them from building the jumps at all, because that's putting other towns' interests into motion, not the taxpayers/voters. it's politics, after all.
i was at a meeting with a town councillor as penisland661 was talking about - when markham riders originally proposed a bike park - which was planned to be in the hospital area - ideally in a place that was still under development so current residents can't complain about a bike park in their neighborhood.
but there is also a good side, us out-of-towners are going to most likely be spending money in Markham buying drinks food e.c.t so it's also good for your "economy" anyway if my vote counts cool if not still good luck! Juan Arroyave
