The Buysell has a new feature, you can now pay a fee to have your ad boosted for a time period. You should see a green "Boost this Ad" button when viewing one of your own ad listings.

Boosting an ad does the following.

Ad is boosted for 14 days.
Ad is highlighted in search results.
Ad is boosted to top of search results.
Ad is shown in the "Featured Ads" section on Buysell homepage and when viewing similar ads (same category or local).
View stats on how many search & detail views your boosted ad receives.

Only boosted ads can you see view counts as to how many times its seen in search results. When viewing your own ad, you can see a summary of these stats along with a summary after you mark an item as sold.

The pricing is $10 for bikes and $5 for parts and other. If you are an Outside+ subscriber you get your first 2 boosts free and a 20% discount on all future boosts after that.

This is a new feature so we will likely tweak or add to it after feedback and usage.

Boost ads are annoying.
I have to scroll past to see the list as I have asked for it.

Also, why are pages basically unformatted now? Looks like a pre-GUI world again.
