Also went with the big stanchions, but switched back to the X2 after trying the coil for a couple of months.

Nice one!

I switched to my old x2 performance today and it wasn’t nice. Since I also have carbon wheels, handlebar, crankset it became to nervous. Like the coil better, even with weight penalty.

I was a fan of the SD Coil on my last Sight.

I've found the 2021 X2 to be the best of all worlds... really impressive shock.

28.8lbs as it sits.

So the frame is a little on the old side, but everything else is either new or relatively new. And I still love it. Burly and light at only 28.8lbs as it sits. More pics and build info here.

Damn dude, you are the master of making those Intense alum frames into light builds. Gripshift though Thumbs Down Razz

lol I guess Gripshift is a love or hate thing. I love it and it’s lighter than triggers. Plus, if you have quick steep transitions from down to up, one twist gets you from full high to full low, no multiple ratcheting needed like triggers.

Tough to believe that Uzzi is sub 30 LBS.

Any scale shots?

Impressive if so.
