does anyone know what coil shock is compatiable with the commencal c;ash 2021 as i tried to put rockshox super deluxe ultimate byt the fittings on my frame were to small for the shock.

I have a modified (internals only) RSSDU on mine. Fits perfectly. Have a look for the mounting kit online. TFtuned usually stock these.

Super deluxe ultimate coil fit fine on my 2021 clash. Love the coil so much more than air

Anyone compared the 2019-2020 clash to a transition patrol 2018-2020?

Has anyone over stroked a Clash yet 250x75 from a furious?

Not that I've seen in all my scouring about this. I was curious about trying to find a 230x70 shock size but they are usually old shocks and no longer made.

250 is 20mm longer if I reckon correctly.... so I'm not sure how one would be able to make it fit ....

I find the travel of the V2 clash, more than ample as it is though. I will be trying the dynamic position this summer to see if it's funner.

I happen to have a 250x75 shock kicking around so I was curious whether that would fit on the Clash. It doesn't. With the downtube flip chip at the "sensitive" position, without a shock, the chainstays top out on the bb shell with roughly 240mm between the shock mounts. The shock mounts are radiused pretty wide and I don't think there's any room for negotiation with offset bushings or any off the shelf solution. I guess the "dynamic" position would change the max possible eye-to-eye distance a bit? I'd be curious to see if anyone has been able to do this.

Does anyone know which adapters I need to upgrade the brakes on the clash to 220mm? I bought this one off Amazon for the front and the brake pads bite only about a quarter inch of the rotor

https://ibb.co/9psQMdV

https://a.co/d/18qahpX

I also have no idea which one is the correct one for the rear.

Thanks in advance

Likely the OG Sram/Avid 20p should work front and back. At least for non maven brakes .... mavens use a specific clearanced sram adapter

Bought two QM-46 mounts which worked.
Should be good to go!

Hi all Clash owners.
I'm in doubt between the Clash Race ( Rs Zeb ultimate + super deluxe ultimate shock, Sram gx,trp dh-r brakes, dr 521 rims on 350 hubs) and Clash Essential ( fox 38 performance + float x2 performance, shimano slx complete with brakes, dt532 rims on formula hubs). Price gap is 600€, more or less 600$. The more expensive model is worth it? Please consider that I'm a lightfeather and i'm coming back to enduro/freeride after 5 years of only road bike so i think i've lost most of my skills on a mtb and must rebuild them from zero or less more...Thanks

You'll have the same amount of fun on either bike. I've never ridden the rockshox ultimate but I use fox 36 performance firk and its all good.
The rims are the most important part of the wheel and im sure formula hubs will be all good.
The trp dhr brakes are definitely better. After a couple of years use my slx front brake started squealing badly so I swapped the caliper for a trp dhr evo and hooked it up to my slx lever and Hose. It is now its brilliant, way more powerful. Not sure if that's worth the price difference. You could just upgrade the calipers and save a lot of money.
Hope this helps.

Yes 2021 Clash large. I bought the frame and built it up. Set up for mainly freeride.
