I need to ask a girl to prom but she doesn't mountain bike, ideas?

Anyway, start by finding out whether she's already going with someone:

"Are you going to the prom?"

If she says that she isn't then ask her if she wants to go with you:

"Would you like to come with me?'

If she's going with someone else, or says no, then find someone else to ask.
