Vorsprung suspension suggests that you turn your HSR all the way slow, and then LSR all the way slow. adjusting your LSR within the range with HSR completely slow makes the X2 incredibly supple and responsive to slight changes. I recently did this with my X2 and it literally feels like a coil shock. I have my HSC and LSC completely open, HSR completely open, and LSR about 4 clicks from closed.
Yes, of course. When inflate, every 30-50 psi balance shock. Anyway, i got to trails with normal pressure and after several runs I found out pressure lost.. ( Seals? Because of hard landings? .....
Maybe it is not the case, but are you accounting for the air loss that occurs when you attach the pump to the shock? The shown pressure is not the same as before ( it will be lower) because some air escapes into the pump tube thus the reading will be different . I found that i measure a lot less psi, with my pump and shock. If it is not the case, I'll check for leaks, maybe spray the shock with water to see bubbles or something, but it should not leak if it is new.
So, as I see from official procedures I need: a) FOX FLOAT Fluid for lubricating some parts durig procedure b) FOX R3 5wt - step 2 in hand bleed c) 10wt - step 7 in damping adjuster cartridge assembly removal/installation
Any tips how to remove 038-00-138 retaining ring in High Speed Adjuster ??
And one more question - how to measure IFP depth using calipers? The IFP piston (white) has a "groove" in center. As for my DCHY - IFP depth is 1.243in/ 31.57mm. So, calipers shout touch the center or side of piston?
I don't have original IFP depth setting tool (803-00-566)
Hello there. Friend of mine had some new expirience in rebuilding his X2, so now he'll need to replace OUTER BODIES and I'll help him. )) I've done full rebuilt of X2 several times, but never needed to remove OUTER BODIES.
Has anyone swapped OUTER BODIES from BODY EYELETS ?
Is it correct: 1) as far as OUTER BODIES outer diameter is 31.74, so I need ~32 mm clamps for vises. 2) I just unscrew OUTER BODIES.. 3) is there any loctite from manufacturer and how hard is it to unscrew it? Any recommendations? 4) should I put some loctite on new one before screw in?
