Just mounted up some 2.3 minion dhf 3cfront with a 2.3 dhf rear for the stock wheels damn they skinny!! But a also got my dhf 2.53c wt front and dhr2 3c 2.4 rear can't wait to get them mounted to the lb rims should end up around the same weight as the stock wheelset hopefully maybe a tad lighter as I opted for the dh version just in case!!! Soo looking forward to it finally being done!!

There's a few about now with like minded intentions hard hitting trail/enduro bike builds I reckon it could be the new specialised pitch under appreciated weapon with a few minor tweaks!! Damn I love this bike the more dialled I get it looking forward to my next alpine adventure no bike parks for me it will be off piste holiday for sure! Roll on the summer lol

I've got the dhf 2.53c wt front on the standard skinny rims and it works really well, should be brilliant on the wider rims.

Had my Jeffsy CF Pro for a week now. Came with a faulty Reverb seatpost, fluid leaking out the actuator. A week on and I'm still no further forward with getting it resolved with YT. Disgusted by their customer service, now got a £3500 bike that I can't use. Anyone know how to get this resolved?
Had the same problem, contacted them by email and they sent me a new one after I made a warranty claim. Must say that they wanted me to bleed the thing first but I refused as this was clearly a faulty actuator. Press on, be factual and demand a warranty claim.

I think i've got a problem with my Reverb too. Had the bike one week. I've bled Reverbs many times so bled this new one and checked the air pressure. It now runs really fast but it depresses about half an inch and kind of clonks up and down under pressure of you sitting on it. I'm gunna give it one more ride before i make a workshop video of the problem and send service@yt an emailed warranty claim.

For those that have made Reverb warranty claims, do you have to return the old Reverb to Germany? Do they wait to receive it before posting another? Or do they send you to a RockShox service centre or TF tuned for example and cover the cost?

Those rims are XC narrow as well so the tires will look skinny . If my budget allows a new bike for next year and I get a YT , wider rims are one of the first mods I would do .

I had to send mine back to YT, they send it back to Rockshox and after inspection I received a new dropper. Took about two weeks, so I used a fixed post for a few rides... Rolleyes

Just pushed the button on an AL as a winter bike. (£1500 at the moment)

I will remove current groupset and replace with SRAM 11 speed that i have spare, together with a PG-1130 11-42 cassette which will fit on the 10 speed non xd body.

Has anyone done the Aeffect crankset conversion from 2x10 to direct mount ? I see from a few posts in this thread that 1up DM Cinch Boost ring was suggested ( http://int.oneupcomponents.com/products/cinch-boost-direct-mount-traction-chainrings ).

is anyone running this conversion?

Emailed YT. They say standard ring not boost !

thank you for your Mail.

When going to a single ring set-up you you need to go for a "normal" chainring and not a one that is adapted for BOOST rear-ends. This adaption is already done by the wider BB92.

Sad to say I've had to log an online dispute case at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu

Over a week since informing YT of faulty goods with no response. Only now am I hearing how terrible their customer service is. Great bikes.. but god help you if you need any warranty claims!

Seriously pi$$ed off!

Only a week and your filing a dispute already? Have you tried phoning them atleast?

They could be especially busy, occasionally you need to chase them but they generally really good with customer service albeit a little slow.

Tried phoning and emailing.

Over a week is more than long enough, especially regarding the timeframe for the right to return items.
If they can respond to new sales quickly then they should be able to respond to customer issues. Even just to say they are aware and something is in progress. But zero response is ridiculous.

I've dealt with YT twice with my Jeffsy now, and I have found them extremely helpful on both occasions. They have usually gotten back to me in two to five days. When I had sent my Reverb in for warranty, they even called me to confirm a few details before they sent it back. I think one needs to realize how busy they probably are in dealing with customer service enquiries. Just judging form some of the things mentioned on here, they are likely dealing with a large volume of minor issues along with more significant things. If will take them longer to get back to you about a warranty issue if they have to sift through twenty "how do I put my pedals on" emails every day. Also, regarding the timeframe for returning goods, don't quote me on this, but I would imagine that so long as you email them within the time frame it's probably ok, even if the issue isn't resolved.
