NOCS / Nobles group ride is going to be co-headlined by local pro wrestling promotion Thrash Wrestling... "Cage in the Canyon" w/ Slayer tribute band and 20ft tall pallet fire... Perhaps VRT alum can tap in and settle some grievances....

Not a sanctioned trail. Get a trail day out there for the new trail and we might think of opening it to a nocs group ride.

no volunteer time + no money + no respect = no nocs trail day in noble.

The slayer make you drunk with confidence? Now your trying to see how well 1x can back pedal? Chain drop in 3-2-1.

VRT throw down is always unsanctioned. XBs going corporate. Running for prez next year, but only if they serve beer at the next AGM.

XB is sensing a strong "No dig No Ride" vibe from this thread at the moment, not sure why... XB can't speak for NOCS, but in the past they were always game with planning group rides out there. The only issue they are busy with other projects and there isn't anyone on board that really knows that much about Nobles... If a liaison stepped up that had inside VRT /. Nobles Drama knowledge, I am sure one would get setup very quick and easy.

But then mid June happens everyone gets Silver Star in headlights and forgets about Canyon, that's other problem.... When it's really all about: Sovereign, Nobles, Big White and Revy baby....

Good point XB. But I'm not going to get all over NOCS like you did, telling them how to run their business because they are volunteers but...

We need to take it back to Grass roots. I want love in Noble before Predator and the other corporate interests. Hell they are hijacking a complete fund raiser to teach 8 kids how to dig a hole. Here's a plan.. keep the massage money to hire some maintenance people to keep the trails clean and I got a beautiful section of trail that will keep those punks off the streets and not stealing shit for at least a couple of weeks.

As liaison to Noble Canyon here is the new New Trail Ninja's program: They can collect beer cans and brass shell casings from noble on their walk up to km 11 of said trail They can use the money to pay their own way for things like the fines from running bobcats and other semi heavy machinery.Maybe we can get some under 12 ers to 'borrow' some stuff, Hell, even with the fines and legal fees they may even make some money on this venture but it will be a valuable lesson on how you have to make your own way in the world, you dont rat on your friends and trail building takes sacrifice, even sometimes your freedom. It ain't easy.

Photo above circa 2002: With the help from NOCS trail fund, Silver Star brings it's summer crew in from the Kamloops correctional center to help shave costs. NOCS pres says it will teach them valuable lessons about water drainage and proper grade..

Dentists kids need after school programs too... I hear some of their parents may only be dentureists or GPs. Not much chedda left in the bank after the fresh MTB's and Christmas vacation to Bali.

In fairness XB was loaded the night he got all up in their business and was mostly joking...
The problem is man everyone is busy and they already have an agenda and a passion of some other new area or new trail in the North Ok Local 420. Not everyone shares the same Stoke for Nobles as the weirdos on the VRT, we just need someone to bring the Stoke flame torch to NOCS, plan a quick thing and boom you got shovels in dirt. Krow could be a good ambassador for Nobles, he seems pretty passionate about Nobles he called it: "G#y as your Nutz" and then did not go on to describe his anti gay views for us. XB does not really see gay as bad, so this is the kind of passion we need to take to NOCS.

XB nominates Krow4Cheezus

Yes, Let's bring our pro-gay man passions to NOCS. Shirtless selfies required.

Vernon is getting a rainbow sidewalk (and poppy roundabout), but I don't think the organization wants to get too politically- poly amorous.

Serious note; why should the organization focus on a riding area that doesn't really need attention. There is already a group dudes taking care of buisness, and keeping it roots?

Limited resources must be triaged. Noobs, what say you!?

All true, plus stoked on rainbow cross-walk ...

No reason though nobles doesn't deserve a trail day, boots on ground, shovels in dirt.
