Best Dirt Jumper/Downhill for $1500-1700 Canadian?

Hello guys, I've just transferred out of doing BMX I used to ride my friend's Dirt jumpers and Downhills at our local jumps and DH trails. I have 1700 Saved up, and am wondering what is the best bang for my buck in the two categories of bikes. I'm well experienced in Downhill riding and Dirt jumping.

So my main question is.

What would you suggest?

First, dirt jump and DH bikes are at complete opposites on the mtb spectrum. If I were you I 'd decide on a discipline and buy one bike specialized in it, no in betweeners. Bang for your buck DH bike, Norco Aurum are amazing and go pretty cheap these days just to name.one. Otherwise, look in buy/sell according to your budget and go see them in person, try the bike.
