I have searched around, trials rider like V brakes for lock power, but my aim is build a do all bike. my bike is STP with stocked Elixir 1 brake, it's ok for most use. but when big gaping and landing rear, it will slip. (front is ok)
Doses ...shimano saint, shimano zee, avide code, Elixir X0 trail, F the one.. lock dead with out too much finger power? from search, it seems these are most powerful disc brake.
or is there some other good suggestion?
and it must be reliable, dose not need constant bleed, grind, clean, replacing parts. other wise it's no better than boosted V brake.
ok, this is surprising, I was looking at all kind hydraulic disc brake, don't hydraulic supposed to have more power? coz all vs treat says the hydraulic have more power but hard to maintenance, please teach me some detailed.
but I was not considering mec brake back then. if BB7 can stop a 30lb+ hard tail as good as saint, the huge price drop, and easy maintenance will be awesome. I have a impression that the shimano brakes are quite reliable. If saint have unmatched stoping power, and it's reliable, so I guess I'm going to get a saint so I can have ultimate power, and do not have to change cable every mud ride.
where I live do not have hope, and it cost quite bit. CRC have hope mono caliper but no lever. and CRC's saint brake do not have RH rear. if buy parts separate, it's cost a lot more than pre bleed saint brake. so, I guess I will get my self a BB7 to try out first thanks!!
HO NO, China BB7 brake price at 59USD each, and it come with Everything, including HS1disc ! now I'm afraid how many are they are fake. or...all of them? dose this price make sense?
and, dose HS1 good for trial moves? or should I keep G2?
