Check the mtbr thread. Someone has a new s5 frame for sale (he ordered two and picked the other color).

Is that weight correct? I'm on a similar setup weighing in at around 16.5kg

I picked up mine today. I drove 10 hours to get it, but definitely worth the drive. Just got home and setting it up for the first ride tomorrow. This thing is gonna be a ripper with the 29/27.5 mullet setup!
I got my hands on a 2021 Specialized Status 160. Gonna be a ripper newbikeday statusmtb

Looking good tup tup

First ride under the belt, and it is insane. It rides through the chunder, so much faster than my Jeffsy and pedals just as easy uphill. Glad I made the decision to buy.

I think this is the funnest long travel bike I've ever ridden.

To anybody out there who has a new Status, what water bottle cages are you running? I just ordered a Lezyne Flow side load cage. and I couldnt get a bottle to fit in my S3 frame. Any suggestions?

Dont have a status but had a stumpy evo in s3, and couldnt get any bottle to fit with a flow side cage. I could eventually get a bottle in with a non-side loading cage, but you may want to look into a fidlock or something similar
