I picked this up several years ago with the intention of doing the Leadville MTB 100, as it's the best possible bicycle for long, XC races like this. Didn't end up doing that race, but did a handful of other XC races. This bike is truly excellent for everything XC, and I honestly can't think of something more performant in that format. In recent years I've ended up doing more MTB parks like Whistler, so ended up on a full suspension and this has not been ridden too much.

History: Purchased this, rode only XC, I'm not a person who does jumps or anything. Never wiped out on the bike, definitely have brushed branches on fire roads or single track, and occasionally gotten a small branch caught up in it. This is why I have listed the Condition as "Good - Used, Mechanically Sound," but note that it rides great. So there are some superficial scratches here and there. A couple years ago I pulled the XX1 Eagle shifter and derailleur and swapped them for brand new Eagle AXS, so this is completely electronic. According to Strava I have under 900 miles on this bike, with the vast majority of that being rail to trail riding like Iron Horse Trail in Washington State or C&O Canal Trail in Washington, DC, some portion of it being easy to intermediate flowy single track, and some of it being XC races like the Wilmington Whiteface MTB or the Austin Rattler MTB.

It shifts amazingly, particularly as the AXS has maybe 200 miles on it. I have put maybe 100 miles on this bike in 2021-2023 and haven't done a race on it in several years. It weighs a hair over 20lbs as photographed, with the stock wheels which are on it. You can probably shave a couple pounds with higher performance wheels.

In addition to XC races, it could be a good CX bike, particularly if one swapped out the fork for the rigid fork.

I am located in Boston, prefer local pickup (happy to meet you halfway), but am willing to ship. I think shipping should be like $125 for a professional packing job by the bike shop and shipped to you.

Note this is a repost from Seattle following a cross country move.
$3,000 USD
Restrictions: Reasonable offers only, No Trades, Will ship within country only
