2014 Trek Fuel EX 8 29er
Only owner. Bought new in Feb of 2015. Couple of scratches, but just a couple. See the pics or ask. I don't hide anything. Strava says I have 961 miles in those 4 years. Makes sense since I have always had other bikes in the stable. This was never my only bike.
I have upgraded to an Ibis Ripley that is full carbon. I like this bike, its very comfortable, and easy to ride... but the Ripley is also a trail bike and gets the nod when I hit the trails.
For the past 7 or 8 months, I been using this bike to ride up and down the street with my wife. So I put some beach cruiser tires on it. I have another set of wheels with XR3 knobbies on it for the dirt.
Few upgrades...
Carbon Bars
XT Cranks (still 3x10, but upgraded from SLX)
XT Shifters (upgraded from SLX)
XT Brakes (upgraded from SLX)
Reactiv rear shock upgrade
Forks serviced and revalved by BikeCo. They are nice and smooth
RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper, with remote (probably needs servicing, but works great for me)
Saddle has been changed to something more comfortable
Will include OneUp flat pedals for a little more
Extra set of wheels included for a little more
Also have an x-fusion trace RL2 fork for it. Nice fork. Read up on it if you don't believe me. Way better and more stable than the fox fork if you ask me. Try it and you'll love it. Available for a small amount more, or swap with Fox 32 fork. You choose the fork you want
dropouts are 15x100 front and 12x142 rear (not boost).
buy it, sell the extra shock, wheels and fork, get some of your money back.
Great bike... love it and really torn about selling it. But, I got an ibis ripley
